We started Empowrd after one too many conversations with senior consultants who had left corporate, built a business on their reputation, and then found themselves working harder than they had in their last corporate job. They were excellent at their craft. They were stuck on everything else. We built Empowrd to handle the everything else.
The Co-Founders
We bring together decades of experience in HR, Finance, and Operations with hands-on expertise in AI systems. Our team is united by one mission: to help organisations scale with confidence, clarity, and governance at the core.
Zoë spent 20+ years in senior HR and People roles, including time as Chief People Officer. She understands the exact path consultants have walked, the frustration with corporate politics, the leap into consulting, and the realisation that a consultancy needs a different skill set than the corporate job did. She brings depth in HR, change management, and people systems, which means she will never try to teach you your craft, and she speaks the language of the founders we serve.
Aman is a marketer, GTM expert, Harvard qualified and operator who has spent his career building demand systems, AI pipelines, and growth infrastructure for service businesses. He runs the marketing, growth, and AI delivery side of Empowrd, and he is usually the one in the room when the pipeline, pricing, and AI roadmap conversations happen.
Born from Experience
Empowrd started because we kept having the same conversation. A senior founder, 20-plus years in, would describe a business that ran entirely on her energy. Referrals came, the work was good, the clients loved her. None of it was repeatable. The pipeline was a guess, pricing was capped by her hours, delivery ate her evenings, and AI might save the business or end it.
The pattern held whether she was an HR consultant in London or a coach in Edinburgh. The discipline changed. The problem did not. What she needed had not been built. AI companies sold tools. Agencies missed people-first work. Networks gave peer support, not infrastructure.
So we built Empowrd, to turn a reputation into a real business.
